I've been a Part 107 drone operator since 2020 and decided to take up Ham as a second hobby. I first got my GMRS license at the end of April of 2024 and I recently passed my Technician license in May of 2024. I'm still studying for my General test.
But I've picked up another hobby......3D printing. Since March 2025 I've been printing everything I thought was cool, even some stuff for ham.
I was in law enforcement for over 20 years but had to retire for medical reasons in 2017. I do these hobbies for fun mainly but it also keeps the neurons firing......we all know the old adage of idle hands.
I'm still learning, so if we make contact and I say the wrong thing please overlook it or just let me know what I need to correct. All in all, I believe this will be as fun hobby as flying drones has been.
